MSHP: intoxicated driver in custody after police pursuit in Cooper County

COOPER COUNTY - Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were at the scene of a rollover crash involving a stolen vehicle in Cooper County shortly after 11 a.m. Monday morning. Kyle Green said a stolen Ford F-150 was involved with a pursuit with the Boonville Police Department. Boonville Police tried to make a traffic stop on the vehicle because the driver had felony warrants out for his arrest. The driver fled and a pursuit started.

The river has risen by about a metre over the last month and threatens people living in designated locations for temporary encampments. Glen Hilke with The Loop says outreach groups like his are working to nudge homeless individuals to make use of shelters like the Memorial Arena facility. I don t know if there will be enough beds, but the thing about shelters is it s a day-to-day experience, Hilke said, noting that an individual may break protocol at the CMHA-run facility, leaving them banned anywhere from two weeks to six months.
